2010 Retrospect, 2011 Wishes

Hello one and all -

First let me say, thank you Jacqui (http://fangeek.com/), for building me this beautiful website.  And thank you Stacy Scowley (http://scowley.com/) for introducing us – 2010 – I know I still owe quite a few of you some autographs and responses to your lovely fan letters.  Please know that my first order of business in the new year is to get those out to you.  I was quite busy planning a wedding this year.    

Speaking of which, as most of you know, I recently married the love of my life, Christopher May (http://pro.imdb.com/name/nm0561894/). We became husband and wife in November of this year.  It was a beautiful wedding…perfect really, with our dearest friends and family present.  The sun shone, the flowers were stunning, the air was clean & crisp, and we were lucky enough to have our beautiful friend, Elizabeth Hoel (http://pro.imdb.com/name/nm0388464/) do my make up and hair and were blessed to have the brilliant Neil Lane (http://www.neillanejewelry.com/) provide my exquisite jewelry.

I had a wonderful time traveling all over the world last year meeting so many of you.  All of us that were a part of Dollhouse are grateful for your support, then and now.  It’s wonderful to put faces to Twitter handles, Facebook profiles and Fanmail.    I have Erin Gray (http://www.heroesforhire.info/default.htm) to thank for getting me to all those conventions and meeting you lovely people.

All in all, 2010 was a blessed, adventurous, fulfilling, sometimes challenging, exciting, and beautiful year.  I wouldn’t change a thing.  –

2011 – With Pilot Season here, I feel giddy knowing that I have, what I believe, is the perfect “Team” around me.  At the heart of it all, of course, I have my loyal family and friends.  They’re everything to me.  But beyond that, I’m lucky enough to have my brilliantly tenacious and kind Managers and Agents, Aaron Sacks, Bruce Smith, Mike Wilson & Cole Harris.  And last but not least, I have those of you who believe in me, who start campaigns for me to be the next Wonder Woman, or fight to get me on any TV Show or in any Film that I might be right for, or make Fan Vids or buy our Uke Box Heroes music, and give me lovely gifts from their country, or just tell me nice things on Twitter or Facebook every once in a while. 

You, the fans, add fuel to my fire.  You inspire me to keep fighting and believing and to never give up. I thank you.  My brain is swimming with ideas for projects of all kinds, incorporating all the beautiful and talented friends we have in our life, both old and new.  Projects you can look out for earlier, rather than later, are: “Goodnight Burbank” (http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=2397372691) starring Laura Silverman & Hayden Black with special guests like Dominic Monaghan (LOTR, Lost), John Barrowman (Dr. Who and Torchwood), Fran Kranz (Dollhouse), Parvesh Cheena (Outsourced), Stacey Scowley, myself and many other familiar faces.  It is being produced for and will air on HULU.com some time in March 2011.

Uke Box Heroes (http://itunes.apple.com/us/album/uke-box-heroes/id347331362) or (http://www.facebook.com/pages/Uke-Box-Heroes/88081287544) will be working on a new album soon with hopes for a Spring 2011 Release Date and follow up Tour.  Stay “tuned”. LOL  I also have plans for philanthropic projects I’d like to work on as well, and am certain I’ll be needing your help brainstorming and spreading the word.  So many worthy causes, so much to do, so much love to give. 

My wishes for you and humble words of advice in this new year: Celebrate the health that you have, embrace the loves of your life, help when you can, believe in yourself, be appreciative of the little things, don’t get bogged down by the big things, and be happy.  Life is precious and I hope you enjoy every moment of it.  Peace, Love, Kindness & Clarity ~Miracle
